| CharlieCharlie has done many interesting things over the years; Carpenter, Cartographic technician, Geophysicist, Software Engineer, Technical Web Developer, and Software/Web Development Manager. His degree is in Geology from the University of Florida. One of Charlie's interests is mineralogy/rock collecting. One of the primary purposes of this site is to support a mineralogy focused web site. As time goes by, Charlie will be building an interactive mineralogy web site that allows the user to view information about minerals and to identify samples. (I am still hoping that I can make this a reality and I have added some new functionality to the Periodic Table of the Elements.) | | | | William at the "bumpy track"; October 2005, Neuchâtel Switzerland | WilliamWilliam was born on 27 April 2000 and is now 5 1/2 years old. Having been born in the french speaking part of Switzerland he is fluent in both french and english. For William, French is the language of play and companionship. For parents and other adultes he expects that they speak English. He will rarely talk to his parents in French; probably because their French is so horrible. William is now in his second year of « école enfantine », the swiss equivalent of kindergarten. He recently visited his Grandmother in Pennsylvania. Both he and grandma had a wonderful time. (updated 31 october 2005) | | | | Molly Molly is a 1 year old swiss mountain dog. She is a cross between a Bouvais Bernois and ??. With her ice blue eyes most people believe she is crossed with a huskie; but we're not convinced. She is a big mutt who loves to have her belly scracthed. One of her favorite things to do is lick William on the ears to get him out of bed in the morning. Hiding under the covers does no good, she simply digs him out! | Molly camping, Ballon de AlsaceFrance, July 2005 | | | |
